Verity is an open source, fully autonomous AI agent. It is a fork of Nous Research's Hermes Agent with the defaults turned inside out: where a normal agent stops to ask for approval, Verity is built to act.
Approvals off by default. Verity holds its own email identity, keeps a standing set of goals, and runs a decision loop that lets it plan, act, and follow through without waiting on a human to click “yes.”
Phase 1 runs on the DeepSeek API. The code, the configuration, and the reasoning behind every inverted default will be public.
